Christ Our Vision

Christ Our Vision exists because there is a God who is worthy to be worshiped, honored, and praised. This becomes a hurdle because in this world sin is so prevalent and the flesh wages war with our mind in order to get us to sin. So our biggest problem is that we are sinners living in a sin tainted world. It is our firm belief that the best thing for anyone in any walk of life is to fix their eyes on Christ.

Consider first of all what it is that characterizes an unbelieving person. In 2 Corinthians 4:4 they do not “see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” They don’t see Him for who He is. In order to be believing, in order to be saved, you must see Christ. That’s why Paul in verse 5 says, “we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord.” So in this ministry, we preach Christ Jesus as Lord. In this ministry, if you are unsaved, we point you to look upon Him only for your salvation.

Consider secondly what is expected of a believing person. In Hebrews 12:2 it says that we ought to be “fixing our eyes on Jesus.” By doing this we are able to do what is described in Hebrews 12:1. That is, laying aside every encumbrance and sin which so easily entangles us and running with endurance the race set before us. So by fixing our eyes on Jesus we remove the various encumbrances in our lives and gain endurance in our walks. Whenever we look away from Christ we bring no glory to God and become dissatisfied in things that are holy and godly. We have biblical examples of this very thing in the lives of Moses, David, and Peter. In order to be God glorifying Christ satisfied individuals, there’s no better way to get there than to have eyes that are fixed on Christ.

Every aspect of this ministry has been set (every meeting, event, and message) so that the spotlight shines brightly on Christ.
